Miflex High Pressure Scuba Diving HoseFull Product Description
This recall involves a black, nylon braided Miflex High Pressure Scuba hose with model numbers MHP06-BK thru MHP48-BK. The hose was sold in lengths of 15.2 centimetres to 121.9 centimetres and a marking of "MFX" can be found on the female fitting end.These hose may have been purchased individually or through 3 different kits that include:
- Deluxe Cylinder Equilizer w/Miflex HP hose (P/N AC366)
- Miflex Two Gauge Console (HL300/HL300M)
- Miflex Rebreather Kits
Hazard Identified
The ferrule insert at the end of the hose can damage the lining of the hose and cause the hose to rupture resulting in loss of air.Health Canada has not received any reports of incidents or injuries to Canadians related to the use of this product.
Corrective Action
Consumers should immediately stop using the diving hose and contact XS Scuba Inc. for a free replacement.The company can be contacted at 1-888-249-5404 8:00 am - 5:00 pm PDT Monday to Friday or visit their
